Schneider Electric isĀ seekingĀ anĀ Materials Technician for 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team inĀ Mt Juliet, TN.Ā This role involvesĀ the sorting, picking, storing, and counting of parts in preparation for assembly.Ā 

What will your responsibilities be?Ā Ā 

  • Sorting, picking, storing, and counting of parts in preparation for assembly.Ā 

  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations andĀ maintainĀ quality standardsĀ 

  • Use inventory scanning system to scan into/out of locations.Ā 

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.Ā 

  • Utilize toolsĀ such as:Ā manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck (including stand-up), jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices, and prescribed safety equipment.Ā Ā 

Qualifications:Ā 

  • High school diploma or GEDĀ required.Ā 

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.Ā Ā 

  • Ā Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as a background check to the satisfaction of the Company.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Ā Candidates must be able to communicate effectively.Ā 

Basic Requirements:Ā Ā 

  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) isĀ required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floorĀ 

  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing isĀ requiredĀ for duration of shift.Ā Ā 

  • RequiresĀ abilityĀ to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.Ā

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is $23 - $23 per hour. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
