Parts Inspector - 1st shift

Milacron is looking for a Parts Inspector to join our team in Mt. Orab, Ohio. The Parts Inspector inspects Barrels, Screws & individual parts following detail drawings, layouts, and other written and verbal specifications for quality and compliance.

Work you'll do:

• Inspect and ship Barrels, Screws and detail parts
• Perform packaging and shipping duties
• Conducts final part inspections
• Assist with in-process inspections
• Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management
• Communicates directly with team members to resolve quality issues
• Train/guide associates and customers

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
• Knowledge of basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, thread & plug gages, height gage, optical comparator, knowledge of CMM is a plus
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards enterprise 1, and Microsoft suite is preferred
• Knowledge of OSS and option requirements
• Working knowledge of OSHA machine safety signs
• Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year technical school in machining or engineering; or 2 plus years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
