About Waldorf Women's Care

Waldorf Women's Care is an established, physician-led gynecology and aesthetics practice serving women across Southern Maryland and the greater DC metro area. Our patients come to us for everything from routine well-woman care to menopause and hormone management, fibroid and heavy bleeding treatment, and in-office procedures — and they stay with us because we take the time to listen.

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who want to build real continuity with patients, work alongside physicians who are genuinely available for collaboration, and practice in a modern, technologically advanced, well-run environment. 


What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive well-woman exams and gynecologic assessments
  • Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions, including abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infections, contraception management, and menopause symptoms
  • Evaluate patients for and manage bioidentical hormone therapy, including testosterone and estrogen pellet therapy
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing and imaging
  • Perform and assist with in-office procedures, including:
    • Hormone pellet insertion (testosterone and estrogen)
    • IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
    • Colposcopy
    • Endometrial biopsy
    • Incision and drainage
  • Counsel and educate patients on preventive care, family planning, sexual health, and menopause
  • Document accurately and completely in our EMR and support timely charge capture
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to deliver a consistently excellent patient experience


What You'll Bring

Education

  • PA: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NP: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, Women's Health or Family Nurse Practitioner track

Licensure & Certification

  • Active, unrestricted Maryland PA or NP license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Current national certification (PA-C, WHNP-BC, or FNP-BC)
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility
  • Current BLS certification

Experience

  • Prior experience in women's health, gynecology, or primary care is preferred, but we are open to new graduates with strong clinical training and a real interest in women's health

Skills

  • Sound clinical judgment and comfort working autonomously within a collaborative structure
  • Warm, clear communication with patients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a busy outpatient setting
  • Commitment to patient-centered care


Schedule

  • Full-time, five days per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • A compressed four-day work week with extended daily hours may be available
  • Rotation between our Waldorf and Brandywine locations


Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $115,000 – $150,000 per year, based on experience and credentials.

New graduates are welcome to apply. New graduates begin at $95,000 during a structured onboarding and training period lasting up to eight weeks. Once training is complete, compensation moves to the range above.

Retirement

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match: the practice matches 100% of the first 1% of pay you contribute, plus 50% of each additional percent, on contributions up to 6% of your pay

Time Off

  • Three (3) weeks of paid time off annually, covering vacation and sick leave
  • Up to nine (9) paid holidays per year
  • Three (3) paid CME days per year, in addition to your PTO

Professional Development

  • $1,500 annual CME allowance
  • Reimbursement of Maryland license, DEA registration, and national certification renewal fees
  • Professional membership dues covered
  • Ongoing training and mentorship from our physician, including hands-on training in pellet therapy and in-office procedures
