Our growing law firm is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join our HOA Collections team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong communication.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of timelines in foreclosure matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage foreclosure files from referral through sale and post-sale processes
- Prepare and review foreclosure pleadings, notices, and related legal documents
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients (HOA/management companies), and third parties
- Ensure compliance with South Carolina foreclosure procedures and timelines
- Maintain accurate file documentation and case tracking
- Communicate case status updates to clients and attorneys as needed
- Prepare attorney for hearings
- E-file documents and manage court-related filings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of foreclosure experience (South Carolina experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of foreclosure timelines and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
