Pleasant - Mount Pleasant, TX 75455Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Description: As a Material Handler 2, you will play a crucial role in our Plant operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve the efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within our facility, utilizing both motorized and non-motorized equipment. Key Responsibilities: Material Movement: Move materials between production and storage areas using motorized vehicles (forklifts) and smaller motorized equipment. Inventory Management: Inspect materials for defects, quantity, and quality. Stock Location and Movement: Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Equipment Maintenance: Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance to ensure safety. Packaging and Shipping: Package, label, and process shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention. Receiving and Shipping: Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving, verifying accuracy and identifying defects. Equipment Usage: Utilize hand tools and equipment to prepare materials for shipping, storage, and receiving. QualificationsRequired Skills: Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs or more. Attention to Detail: Accurate and precise in tasks. Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with colleagues. Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and maintain motorized equipment. Valid Driver's License: Required for operating motorized vehicles. Experience: 2-5 years of experience operating a tractor, forklift, and other motorized equipment.
