Job Summary & Essential Functions
The Production Control Expeditor coordinates and expedites actions on materials, parts and assemblies between departments while supporting production schedules to ensure customer commitments are satisfied.
- Release and Track shop floor work orders and packets based on Control Points and APS schedules
- Review production schedules and related information, and confer with other departments to determine part status, identify overdue, and track material/parts through production
- Manage priorities & determine work order sequence in assigned work centers
- May enter work orders in ERP system for each manufacturing sales order
- Compile information from various system resources to communicate with all departments regarding work flow
- Coordinate action plans for stalled work orders to ensure a constant flow through the production process
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping to make sure customer commitments are met
- Interface with all departments, as needed, regarding problems or status related to work orders
- Monitor Job Cycle Time within assigned work centers

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- ERP system experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with all levels of the organization and customers
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
- Ability to initiate projects and tasks as required to fulfill goals and deadlines
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Strong decision-making skills; utilizing sound judgement and thorough processesÂ

Required Experience & EducationÂ
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of relevant job experienceÂ
