Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following but is not limited to:   Perform related duties as assigned by Yard and or Shipping Manager Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications Inspect incoming materials and verify packing slips Inspect yard equipment’ Clean inside and outside of the trucks Conduct routine inspections of the truck and trailer, identify any maintenance or safety concerns and promptly report all issues to the shop department/main office Establish or adjust work procedures to meet distribution schedules Maintain positive relationship with customer contact Promote team effort in helping each other. This will increase the performance levels of all in supplying a high standard of satisfactory service to the customer Always promotes safety first and assists in maintaining housekeeping requirements on the premises Safeguard the confidentiality of FRATCO, especially products, operations, financial, customers, and personal information Maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with customers, community, and those persons superior or subordinate to this position, as well as peers Deliver loads to customers with a 50’ trailer, may have to back into tight drives, fields, locations.  Have the ability to push product off trailer by hand at times.   QualificationsQualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have knowledge of, and be able to identify all products Must be able to drive Fratco truck and pass all insurance requirements Must be able to haul a 50’ trailer and back into tight drives efficiently and provide customer service at delivery site Must be able to competently operate all distribution equipment Must be able to count inventory Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal employees and external customers Have valid driver's license with good driving history Must be 21 years of age Have and maintain CDL license, does not require air brakes. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
