This is a full‑time Float Clinic position in Charleston, SC offering 30–40 hours per week with every other weekend off. The role is fully benefit‑eligible and includes PTO, a 401(k) match, and annual CME funds.

You will:Ā Ā Ā 

  • Provide Primary and FamilyĀ evidenced-based care inclusive ofĀ accurateĀ assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.Ā Ā 

  • Be responsible forĀ handling patient appointments and performing routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomesĀ Ā 

  • Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals toĀ maintainĀ a comprehensive plan of careĀ Ā 

  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition managementĀ Ā 

Ā Ā 

Required Qualifications:Ā Ā 

  • Nurse Practitioner/PA less than 12Ā monthsĀ relative experience.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Active Family Nurse practitioner/PAĀ Ā licenseĀ in good standingĀ Ā 

  • Provide holistic,Ā evidenced-based care inclusive ofĀ accurateĀ assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI)Ā PreventionĀ and safer sex practices.Ā Ā 

  • Order and administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.Ā Ā 

  • Minimum of two years ofĀ medically relevant experience or equivalentĀ Ā 

  • Complete the DOT certification exam withinĀ 30 daysĀ of employmentĀ Ā 

  • Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing inĀ additionalĀ languages not limited to but including SpanishĀ Ā 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).Ā Ā 

  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocolĀ requires.Ā Ā 

Ā Ā 

Education:Ā Ā 

  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice NurseĀ roleĀ Ā 

Preferred Qualifications:Ā Ā 

  • EPIC experienceĀ preferredĀ Ā 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$37.66 - $81.11

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Ā The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Ā This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Ā
