Job Summary & Essential Functions
Load and assist with setup and staging of product on the SMT lines.
- Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
- Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
- Assist in building of electronic assemblies as needed
- Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
- Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Ability to read and understand load plans
- Intermediate component identification skills
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
- Knowledge of IPC-610 standards
- Abilities listed in General Requirements for Team Members
Required Experience & EducationÂ
- High School Diploma or GED
- No experience (Just a positive attitude and willingness to learn!)
