Job DetailsJob Location: Main Location - Mount Pocono, PA 18344Position Type: Part TimeJob Shift: DayPosition Overview: The Payroll Clerk is responsible for assisting in the performance of “time and attendance” functions, processing information for payroll, maintaining files, preparing reports and processing information that affects employee compensation.  All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.   Essential Job Functions: Assist in operating and maintaining the automated time and attendance system (Paycom). Enter, update and maintain up-to-date information on employees in the Paycom system (deleting, adding and editing all ). Enter/edit time and attendance, leave authorizations and holidays, daily updating and communicating with time keepers. Run exception and punch detail reports for supervisors. Timely process time, attendance and other compensation (tips) for weekly payroll for Gaming employees. Prepare, enter and edit approved vacation, personal, holiday, training/education meeting, and other time and/or leave request: recording “tip compensation” as reported on tip sheets and/or other tip reporting format. Prepare and edit exception and punch detail reports. Complete time sheets as necessary. Edit the draft and final weekly punch detail (time and attendance) reports that will be submitted to payroll for processing of payroll. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and disseminate as necessary and/or requested by Supervisors and/other management on a timely basis to include, but not limited to, exception, punch detail, employee listing and accumulated time (vacation/personal) reports. Maintain accurate changes and edits of employee authorized name changes, supervisor authorized employee changes for job title, transfers, etc. Provide reports forms and information to Gaming Managers, Directors, Supervisors, and Employees and assist employees in completing various forms, i.e. direct deposit, payroll deductions, change of address forms and forward to the appropriate areas. Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Attend all necessary training meetings. Assist in other projects, as directed. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.  Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule. Qualifications Essential Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred. Excellent math and calculator skills required.
