Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform and coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of facilities and grounds. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and complete facility repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, assembly, and general repair work.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
  • Coordinate repairs with vendors and outside contractors.
  • Obtain vendor bids and assist with purchasing materials and supplies.
  • Communicate maintenance issues and safety concerns to management.
  • Support facility projects and work with management on schedules and priorities.
  • Assist with snow removal, debris cleanup, and other weather-related maintenance.
  • Provide guidance to vendors and assist with training new maintenance and custodial employees.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience required.
  • Experience with general facility maintenance and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read instructions and complete basic written documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
