What You'll Do
As a Prosthetic Technician, you'll fabricate and assemble custom prosthetic devices for both internal and external customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate Omega Carvers and other fabrication equipment
- Fabricate prosthetic components including check sockets, laminations, foam covers, and pelite liners
- Complete customer orders from start to finish while meeting quality and production expectations
- Read and follow work instructions, specifications, and fabrication procedures
- Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and help maintain inventory of materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and departmental procedures
- Collaborate with technicians, production teams, and supervisors to continuously improve processes and product quality
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to prioritize work and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle molds, equipment, and materials
