Job Summary
The Water Truck Driver is responsible for operating a water tanker to transport and deliver water
for construction, dust control, or other industrial purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving safely
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Housekeeping of the water truck
- Operating the water spray or pump systems to apply water for dust suppression or compaction
Safety and Compliance
- Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures for water truck operations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Comply with environmental and occupational safety regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs.).
