JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours: Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, soup and other deli items according to established recipes and customer requests
Provide friendly and efficient customer service while assisting guests with menu selections
Stock and replenish deli ingredients, food products, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift
Monitor product freshness, rotate inventory using FIFO practices, and remove expired items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of preparation areas, equipment, display cases, and service counters
Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
Assist with food display setup and merchandising to maintain an attractive and well-stocked deli area
Cashier, food preparation, and/or other café operations during peak service periods
Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and stock food products and supplies
Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull carts or equipment as needed
Ability to safely use food preparation equipment and tools
Ability to work in a busy retail food service environment
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
No directly related experience
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service, deli, restaurant, retail, or customer service settings
