The Inside Patrol Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and property by performing regular patrols, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents. Key Responsibilities Conduct interior patrols throughout the Walmart store to maintain visibility and deter theft or disturbances. Monitor activity, identify suspicious behavior, and take appropriate security action when necessary. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance. Maintain compliance with company policies, site post orders, and legal/security regulations. Provide excellent customer service to patrons and staff while maintaining professionalism. Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation. Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when required. Requirements Must hold a valid California Guard Card (required by state law). Prior security or loss prevention experience preferred. Ability to remain alert and vigilant while patrolling busy retail areas. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Must have reliable transportation to and from the site. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Must be able to work assigned shifts (overnight, weekends, holidays if required). Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while patrolling. Capable of responding quickly to emergencies or disturbances. Must be able to write clear and accurate reports.
