JOB SUMMARY
The Speech Language Pathologist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team whose focus is on the development of individualized treatment plans that address language, communication, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentive communication for the birth to 21 population in an outpatient setting.
Full-time position, with 13 of the 40 hours after the hours of 3 PM, to accommodate the population we serve.
SALARY
Salaried Postion. Â Competitive, Based on Experience
$2,000 Sign-on Bonus

As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with our providers to provide the highest level of care to our clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Evaluate clients and create an individualized treatment plan that is family centered.
- Assist in the acquisition of augmentative communication devices.
- Complete billing for all services provided in accordance to insurance regulations.
- Communicate client progression with parent/guardian, interdisciplinary team, and primary care physician.
- Supervise clinical interns.
- Completion of clear, functional, and client focused home exercise/activity programs.
- Completion of clear and thorough daily session notes in EMR.
Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or Higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited academic institutionÂ
- PA State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA-)-Strong CFY candidates will be consideredÂ
- Mandated Reporting and Child Abuse TrainingÂ
- First Aid & CPR/AED CertificationÂ
- Current State Child Abuse History Clearance , Current State Police Record Check & Current Federal Criminal History Background Check (FBI Fingerprinting)Â
- Compliance with Drug Testing & Satisfactory Drug Testing Results
- Knowledge of scope of practice of a PA State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist & knowledge of best practices for Speech Language Pathologists per ASHAÂ
