Job Purpose:


We are looking for hardworking individuals to work as a team to inspect all boats after production to ensure that all parts are completed and up to quality standards. Performs some assembly and disassembly. Packs up parts to be shipped with the boat. Does final cleaning of boats in preparation for loading and shipment. Also required to be able to buff boats.

  • This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Starting pay for this position starts at $14.40/hour.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read orders and identify missing or defective parts and be able to replace them when necessary if production is not available.
  • Ability to use and maintain a variety of hand tools including screw gun, drill, buffer, etc.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Follow instruction of Supervisor/Lead.
  • Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
  • Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of interior of boats.
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment to include respirator when necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary.
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions, normal office environment or factory environment that is not climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The factory in certain areas maintains a high fiberglass and dust environment. 


Personal Protective Equipment might be required in certain areas of the factory including but not limited to safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and protective garments.


Employees in safety-sensitive positions must report to work fit for duty and must remain fit for duty throughout their workday. To be fit for duty, the employee must not be impaired by alcohol, illicit drugs, or medication.
