Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports recruiting operations for MP Materials by coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate records, assisting with job postings, and helping deliver a timely, professional candidate experience. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to keep the hiring process organized, accurate, and moving efficiently.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, scheduling logistics, and follow-up with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates.
- Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and interview records in the applicant tracking system.
- Assist with job postings, offer documentation, background check coordination, and onboarding handoffs.
- Support recruiting events, candidate travel, interview materials, and other talent acquisition activities as needed.
- Provide responsive, professional support to candidates and internal stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in recruiting coordination, HR administration, scheduling, customer service, or administrative support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn applicant tracking systems and HR technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desired Qualities:
- Experience supporting recruiting, HR, or high-volume scheduling processes.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, or recruiting tools.
- Professional, service-oriented approach with the ability to work well with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members.
