What we are looking for

We’re searching for a Cadence PCB Librarian. This role reports to the Technical Lead Manager of PCB Layout. We will be replacing our present librarian, who is retiring. The PCB Librarian is responsible for managing and creating accurate symbols/models, from Schematic to PCB footprints to 3D models to PLM tool input, for all PCBA’s, for prototype to volume production applications.

In this role, you will

  • Manage and create all PCB/PCBA symbols/models
  • Collaborate with EE, PCB Layout, and ME’s

Required qualifications

  • Master of Cadence Library Creator tool
  • Experience with Cadence ECAD-MCAD tool
  • 8+ years experience as a Librarian
  • Experience  and working knowledge of IPC-7351 footprint standard
  • Understanding of footprint design
  • Experience with library configuration management
  • Communicate effectively with multiple functional groups to complete part creations
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Desirable qualifications

  • System Administration of Cadence tools is a plus
  • PCB layout experience is a plus

The base salary range for this position is  $181,000 - $290,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
