Director (Consulting - Public Sector)

Position Summary:The Directyor supports and leads the delivery of advisory engagements, with a focus on internal audit and consulting services for public sector clients. This role contributes to project execution, client communication, and analysis, while developing technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Support end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and reporting
Conduct client interviews, testing, and data analysis
Prepare and review deliverables such as internal audit reports and process assessments
Collaborate with managers and team members to meet project timelines and budgets
Maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication
Apply firm methodologies, tools, and quality standards across engagements
Contribute to business development and knowledge sharing initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, or consulting
Experience with government/public sector clients preferred
CPA required - CIA or CFE are a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools

Compensation: $190,000-$250,000 base salary, plus bonus programs.
