Job DetailsJob Location: Mountain View, CA 94040Position Type: InternshipSalary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 HourlyThe Holy Cross Internship Program provides recent college graduates who are alumni of Saint Francis with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education while giving back to their alma mater through service and leadership. This year-long commitment allows interns to develop professional skills in a dynamic school environment while contributing meaningfully to the school community. Interns with degrees appropriate for secondary education who excel in their first year are eligible to become Teaching Fellows. Rooted in the tenets of Holy Cross education and service, the program calls on interns to share their talents with humility and zeal. Interns will take on diverse responsibilities that align with both their interests and career aspirations, as well as the evolving needs of the school. Key areas of involvement may include: Academic Support: Working in the Learning Resource Lab and as afterschool tutors. Event Planning & School Operations: Assisting with the organization and execution of schoolwide events. Campus Ministry & Student Life: Helping to facilitate freshman and sophomore service-learning days, chaperoning immersions, participating in a senior retreat, and supporting faith-based initiatives. Extracurricular Engagement: Serving as club moderators, coaches, and mentors for student activities. Classroom & Administrative Support: Assisting as teaching aids, proctors, and substitute teachers as needed. Professional Development & Exploration: Shadowing teachers, counselors, and staff in various departments, including the library and student services, to align with future career goals. Through this immersive experience, interns will gain valuable insight into the field of education, build leadership skills, and make a lasting impact on the school community, all while deepening their connection to the Holy Cross mission.
