Job Description

  

Join a pivotal leadership role where you bridge sales execution and customer experience. As the Inside Sales Manager, you’ll lead a high-impact team responsible for quotation support, order management, and customer service operations. Reporting to senior sales leadership, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and long-term customer relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing or technology environment. This is an opportunity to shape processes, develop talent, and directly influence business outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales and Customer Service team to drive performance and accountability

  • Set priorities, goals, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives

  • Oversee quoting, order entry, order administration, and sales reporting activities

  • Act as the escalation point for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and service issues

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales lifecycle

  • Monitor key metrics such as bookings, backlog, and revenue performance

  • Partner with sales and business development teams to support growth opportunities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, and supply chain teams

  • Drive improvements in sales support processes, order accuracy, and customer responsiveness

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements

What you need

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills – required

  • Excellent customer relationship management and problem-solving ability – required

  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) – required

  • Data analysis and reporting capability – preferred

  • Experience with ERP and order management systems – required

  • 5+ years in inside sales, customer service, or sales operations in manufacturing/technology – required

  • 3+ years of people management experience – required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field – required
