Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience producing content for social media channels and fluency with AI tools.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work calmly and exhibit good judgment on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), with a demonstrated ability to think creatively, shape a narrative, and effectively communicate through presentations, scripts, or emails with exceptional attention-to-detail.

About the job:

As a member of the Global Communications and Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help develop internal and executive communications materials and campaigns to connect key audiences with our product strategy.

In this role, you will support the Android Ecosystem organization at Google, which provides computing platforms that serve billions of people globally, including Android XR, Android TV, Android Auto, ChromeOS, Android Platform, and Google Play. You will cultivate ecosystems of developers, businesses, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) that bring these platforms to life across applications, services, and devices.

In this role, you will be a detail-oriented team player who can work cross-functionally, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to try out new ways of doing things. You will be able to manage a complex group of stakeholders, combine creativity with the organizational skills to manage numerous different projects to tight deadlines simultaneously, and produce internal communications and events for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategy and execution of internal and executive communications for the Android Ecosystem organization.
  • Partner with select senior leaders to manage priority internal communications, helping them effectively engage their organizations and cross-functional partners, including advising on internal communications strategy, ghostwriting/editing communications, and supporting internal events.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners across Global Communications and Public Affairs (GCPA), People Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, and more to source content, triage incoming requests, and ensure coherent messaging across complex initiatives.
  • Experiment with innovative formats for storytelling (e.g., visuals, short-form video, podcasts) to amplify and humanize complex technical and product narratives.
