Job Description
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
LinkedIn Premium operates as a line of business with end‑to‑end accountability for the premium member value — from leaning in on the free experience that seeds demand to the paid outcomes that drive revenue. UAM (Unified Acquisition & Management) is the acquisition backbone for this LOB, owning the full online subscription lifecycle (discovery, signup, retention, cancellation) and orchestrating extreme cross‑functional coordination to balance free value creation with clear, defensible paid value.
UAM is structurally different and runs five engineering tracks, shares 15+ backend services, and continuously aligns with Marketing, Strategic Finance, Flagship, LBP, and external partners to synchronize funnels, pricing, attribution, and product signals. As revenue targets rise, Premium needs a dedicated platform TPM embedded in UAM to enforce operational rigor, drive cross‑org execution, and scale AI‑powered process automation beyond what Engineering Managers and Directors can absorb alongside their core responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AI‑ and automation‑driven reporting: health dashboards, and metric surfacing; optimize workflows to improve engineering productivity and decision quality.
- Platform scope, not feature scope: coordinate multi‑SKU Premium programs; sequence shared infrastructure (subs‑mt, chameleon‑mt, Commerce/LBP, voyager‑api); manage partner/Commerce dependencies to protect delivery capacity.
- Hands‑on technical depth across the UAM stack: read/author PRs, inspect service integrations, query data, instrument metrics and alerts, and partner with Staff+ engineers to validate design and automation choices.
- Executive representation: represent Premium/UAM in leadership and cross‑org forums; synthesize complex platform trade‑offs into crisp decision options; influence up and across with clear, data‑backed narratives.

- Experience managing programs across multiple engineering teams with shared services and infrastructure dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to work with AI/automation tools to improve engineering processes and operational visibility
- Experience in subscription, commerce, or marketplace platform environments
- Track record of driving operational rigor in fast-moving engineering orgs — structured cadences, data-driven reviews, measurable process improvements
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills — able to work effectively with Marketing, Finance, Product, and external partners
- Experience with quarterly planning at scale across multiple teams
- Experience with subscription business metrics (bookings, retention, survival rate, renewal rate)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn or similar large-scale consumer platform engineering
