Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration, alignment, and project execution.
  • Experience in 3D rendering environments such as Unreal, Unity.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end solutions for consumer or enterprise applications in telepresence or video conferencing.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the iterative production of experimental stimuli for user testing and the fabrication of mock-ups and rough functional prototypes.
  • Provide experimentally validated digital 3D CAD models and physical prototypes to communicate product goals to external partner original device manufacturer/original equipment manufacturer (ODM/OEMs).
  • Partner with UX, Product Managers, and Engineering leaders to define priorities and envision the future of remote communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver digital models, physical mock-ups, and prototypes of future Beam devices.
  • Coach designers and mentor researchers to design products that balance technical feasibility with innovation.
