Job Description

At Teledyne Microwave Solutions, we’ve spent over 50 years designing and building sophisticated RF and microwave components for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our products support critical missions across aviation, radar, space, and electronic warfare. If you’re ready to apply your engineering skills in a hands-on role that drives innovation and quality, join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer.

What you’ll do

  • Support production teams by troubleshooting technical issues and resolving manufacturing challenges
  • Create and maintain manufacturing and test documentation for new builds
  • Investigate hardware failures and out-of-spec conditions to identify root causes
  • Develop and implement lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Provide technical guidance and training to manufacturing personnel
  • Review and update work instructions and procedures for accuracy
  • Participate in design reviews, MRB meetings, and audits
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to resolve material or vendor issues
  • Recommend new methods, processes, and equipment to enhance operations
  • Communicate technical information clearly to all levels of the organization

What you need

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot microcircuits and RF/Microwave tuning under a microscope (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (required)
  • 0–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing (required)
  • Knowledge of electronics assembly and test processes (required)
  • Familiarity with RF/Microwave concepts through coursework or experience (advantage)
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (required)
