Description
The mission of the CIAM team is to provide identity management, authentication, and authorization capabilities to Verily product teams. The goal is to provide this feature centrally to reduce duplication of effort, support a common user experience, accelerate time to market, and drive compliance to regulations from a central foundational point.
Responsibilities
Help build out core CIAM platform capabilities using industry standard protocols and enable easy integration with Verily products. Â
Work with product teams to design and implement CIAM features.Â
Build a secure, high-throughput developer centric platform for handing IAM with an emphasis on ease of use.
Establish platform expectations (SLA/SLO/SLI) and associated monitoring, logging and tooling to operate the platform at scale.
Collaborate with Verily Security to ensure that regulatory and reporting requirements are supported throughout the platform.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years experience as a software engineer designing, building and managing mission critical applications.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Identity Management vendor solutions such as Auth0, Ping Identity or Okta.
Experience in design and implementation of resilient and scalable systems working in a containerized environment.
Familiarity with a client-side JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.
Experience operating in a regulated environment.
Ability to collaborate with distributed teams on a several simultaneous projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,500 - $185,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
