Job DetailsJob Location: MX - Moxee - Moxee, WA 98936Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.30 - $17.82 HourlyResponsibilities:  Transport meals safely and on time between the vendor kitchen and center using an EPIC vehicle/cart or, when required, a personal vehicle. Return food carriers and related items to the vendor kitchen as needed. Prepare and stock food carts for classroom meal service, including: Portioning food according to CACFP requirements. Setting up dishes, utensils, napkins, and serving supplies. Providing materials for food disposal and dish rinsing. Monitor and document food and refrigerator temperatures to ensure food safety from pickup through classroom delivery. Date and label all delivered and prepared food items. Follow all CACFP guidelines and applicable Head Start, ECEAP, USDA, and funding source requirements. Collect food carts after meals, load and operate the dishwasher, and maintain an adequate supply of clean dishes and utensils for upcoming meals. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food service area by cleaning and disinfecting food carts, sinks, cupboards, cabinets, dishwashers, and related equipment. Monitor food service inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Maintain a safe, healthy, and sanitary environment by supervising children when assigned, responding appropriately to emergencies, and providing First Aid/CPR as needed. Participate in family events, parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development, and other center activities. Support classroom operations by assisting in classrooms as needed. Conditions of Employment: Prior to employment, complete a pre-employment drug screen, Tb skin test by an EPIC approved healthcare provider at no cost to the employee. Pre-employment basic physical by an EPIC healthcare provider (obtain within (30) days of employment and no cost to the employee). Must pass an initial and periodic background check through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) in Merit.  Provide proof of MMR vaccination and/ or resistance to Measles, Mumps & Rubella. Current Food Handlers card  Current First Aid/CPR card Prior to first day complete Health & Safety training certificates through DCYF student training portal.  Complete Childcare Basics 30 hours STARS training within 3 months of hire Meet the minimum education requirements within the timeframe as stated in the performance standards. Complete Child Abuse and Neglect training and all other mandated training. CEO Approval.    Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required  One year of classroom work experience in a preschool setting.  Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults  Demonstrated ability to work closely with other team members, ability to grasp a team-centered approach to the delivery of services for children and families. Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments to meet program requirements.  Ability to complete work assignments in an organized, efficient, timely, and accurate manner, paying strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:   ECE State Initial Certificate or equivalent &/or willingness to work towards AA in ECE.
