Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist performs Human Resources related responsibilities at a professional level. The responsibilities may include HRIS entry, personnel record keeping, file maintenance, correspondence reporting, and analytics. You will report to the Human Resources Coordinator working with the human capital management team. You'll work on site in Mount Airy, NC.

Essential Functions:

  • Help maintain human resources records. This includes recording new hires, rehires, E-Verify process, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, address changes, and other HR record-keeping functions. Additionally, data entry into HRIS is part of these responsibilities.

  • Be a credible partner and a contact for an assigned client group on HR related client needs. Help identify human resource needs and work with department management to develop solutions for optimum services.

  • Ensure confidentiality while maintaining personnel information.

  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • We require an associate degree. We prefer a Bachelor's Degree.

  • Two (2) years' experience in human resources; experience with HRIS and ATS required (Oracle preferred).

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft systems including Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables & charts), Word, and other relevant software.
