POSITION: Product Test Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Product Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Product Test Coordinator will work with both our operations and product groups. With operations, the coordinator must perform various duties to assure incoming quality, solid processes throughout packaging and warehouse operations and run audits on outbound shipments. With our product group, the coordinator must perform warranty return analysis, product functional testing and other various product related tasks which assure product quality.

The Product Test Coordinator must have strong attention to detail and have the ability to read product specifications and blueprints. A technician must have sufficient computer skills to record inspection data and create reports for the management team.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Operational related quality tasks (70%)
Incoming inspection
Process improvement
Root cause analysis (A3/8D)
Measurements using standard calibrated tools
Product warranty and testing tasks (30%)
Measurements using standard calibrated tools, optical devices, pressure gauges
Manage the warranty return process, analysis and disposition of parts returned
Testing products for conformance to functional specifications
Testing competitive products to find/verify differentiation for marketing purposes

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Requires a two-year degree. The degree program can be in a technical field or quality control technology.
Requires 2-3 years of experience in a quality control/assurance position
