Plans, organizes, and participates in the coordination, development and implementation of projects, programs and strategic initiatives to meet strategic goals. Provides management support to leadership. Works closely with leadership to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibility
- Supports leadership with day-to-day operations.Â
- Responds timely to general credentialing inquiries
- Prepares reports and presentations for hospital committees as needed (i.e. Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee and others as needed).
- Manages the collection of Medical Staff Dues
- Collects the departmental Focused Professional Practice Evaluations in compliance with Joint Commission Standards
- Oversees on call schedules in aMion.
- Participates in preparation of hospital surveys in accordance with accrediting/surveying agency's standards as needed.
- Supports leadership in achieving strategic goals and objectives to achieve overall mission of the health system in line with Health System strategy.Â
- Participates, supports and drives major initiatives of business leadership and identified Committees.Â
- Accountable for follow-up activities.Â
- Develops and determines priorities and monitors status of projects on an ongoing basis.Â
- Plans and executes projects and programs. Prepares project plans including scheduling, cost analysis, content, communications and other elements as appropriate including relevant process and procedures Acts as a liaison and fosters communication between departments, committees and leaders within the health system and Health System.Â
- Oversees work of subcommittee coordinators.Â
- Maintains ongoing interaction and follow-up with clinical and administrative business leaders.Â
- Performs research, analysis to supplement and assist initiatives, projects and program.
- Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.Â

Work Shift: 9:00AM-5:00PM /Monday - Friday (Primarily On-Site)

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience in Credentialing preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, required
- 3 -5 years of relevant experience, required.
- Credentialing/Privileging and certification as a Medical Staff Services Professional is preferred.Â
