Job purpose
Expand DNP’s market share and brand in assigned territory. Form high level relationships with existing DNP accounts and create opportunities to convert competitive targets. Form and nurture relationships with principals in auto id industry. Gain market intelligence and share with management to help formulate and execute sales strategy. This position requires several years of experience and is characterized by a sustained record of sales achievement and a thorough knowledge of the organization’s policies, products and services.
Duties and responsibilities
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Act to acquire new customers and unearth new sales opportunities through networking; turn opportunities into long-term partnerships, aiming to accelerate revenue growth profitably
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Prepare quotations and contracts with customers.
- Communicate with Customer Service related to the specific needs of customers and the details necessary to maintain their business
- Research the market for potential growth and provide feedback to management
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and sales reporting
- Make recommendations to management related to product requirements, customer wants, and/or business direction changes that are necessary
- Other duties as assigned by management.Â

Education and/or Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skillsÂ
- Ability in problem solving and negotiationÂ
- Demonstrated success in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs and bringing new products to market, acquiring new customersÂ
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office products
- Strong aptitude for evaluating and presenting technical information
- Ability to travel to develop markets/sales aggressivelyÂ
- Must be able to achieve targets and complete tasks, including paperwork, including account follow up and reports within specified time and in a professional manner
