Your Impact
WNA is seeking an experienced and motivated CAD & BIM Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and a good understanding of the architecture, engineering and construction industry to effectively understand how to execute our vision and mission. As the CAD & BIM Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, and will assist and support the Electrical team in all assigned projects. The CAD & BIM Technician will report to the Electrical Team Manager. This opportunity is available in our Portersville office.

Technician Responsibilities 

  • Communicate and coordinate daily with the Team Manager, Project Coordinator and team members upon receipt of assigned project(s)
  • Review and understand assigned project and requirements
  • Manage drafting tasks and workload to fulfill project needs
  • Aides in researching and implementing new CAD related software
  • Follow project execution and submission protocols 
  • Manage and prioritize personal workload
  • Contribute to and support the overall development of WNA and the department 

Here’s What You Need

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience using Revit is required
  • Working knowledge of building construction concepts, architectural components, and MEP/FP systems.
  • Strong interest in using design software daily, with a critical-thinking mindset and exceptional attention to detail
  • Adaptability in applying standards and learned skills to various types of projects
  • Skilled in active listening and clear, effective communication
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality, practicing integrity, and understanding personal capabilities and limits
