Job Description:

The Set-Up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates. 

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00pm 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations
  • Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates
  • Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
  • Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal forms
  • Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
  • Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole
  • Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need 

Education, Skills, and Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
  • Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
  • Great attention to detail is required
  • Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
  • Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
  • Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Forklift certification
