The position involves preparing patients and conducting non-invasive electroencephalograms (EEG) and sleep studies to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders.
Candidates must have graduated from a Neurodiagnostic program or possess three years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field.
A successful completion of the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists examination is required, along with ABRET registration or eligibility.
The role requires strong customer service, computer skills, and the ability to perform EKGs as needed.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Prepares patients and performs non-invasive electroencephalograms (EEG), sleep deprived studies and other tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Edits and prepares tests, Reports findings and concerns to reading physicians. Cleans and maintains all equipment. Demonstrates excellent customer service, telephone, and computer skills. Performs EKGs or other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic program or three years’ experience in the neurodiagnostic field.
Successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists
Board Registry Required
National Certification in area of specialty, preferred
Hospital experience preferred.

Certification/ Licensure:

ABRET Registered or Registry Eligible required.
BLS required.
