Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

About the Role
In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting students with a variety of developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, and educational needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting students across different age groups and collaborating with educators and related service providers to provide comprehensive student support.
Caseload assignments will be determined collaboratively based on student needs and the strengths of the social work team.
Responsibilities

Provide individual and group social work services to students with autism and other low-incidence disabilities

Support students with social-emotional development, behavioral needs, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute social-emotional goals and recommendations

Conduct social developmental assessments and contribute to special education evaluations

Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers

Communicate with families and connect them with appropriate school and community resources

Support students during behavioral or emotional challenges and assist with crisis intervention when needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Advocate for students and help ensure their social-emotional needs are addressed within the school environment
Qualifications

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Experience working with students with autism or other low-incidence disabilities is a plus
-
Comfortable working with students across the K–12 age range
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills

Compassionate, flexible, and student-centered approach
