Position Summary The Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role combines technical expertise with a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and professional communication. The position will also serve as the check-out/referral clerk and is responsible for assisting patients as they complete their visit, ensuring follow-up appointments, referrals, and documentation are handled accurately and efficiently. Job Functions/Responsibilities: Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians. Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results. Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment. Maintain equipment in appropriate operating condition. Maintain examination rooms and work areas. Order and stock all supplies. Maintain accurate department records, reports, and files as directed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Work as a team member within the ultrasound department and all other departments. Document work processes as required. Other duties as assigned. Between X-rays being performed, you will be cross trained for the front office as a check-out/referral clerk. QualificationsRequired Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program required. Compensation: Negotiable based on experience Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO, and Holidays Schedule Requirements: Full-time position, 5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required. Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
