As a Lead Principal Satcom/Telecom System Application Engineer in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long-lasting partnerships that thrive on success.

Key responsibilities in your new role


  • Provide structured technical input to G2M strategies for the power conversion business in Satcom and telecom applications, and support cross-regional alignment and develop and deliver scalable technical collaterals for power conversion solutions in Satcom and telecom infrastructure
  • Support design-in / design-win activities with system-level proposals and customer engagement
  • Understand SATCOM and telecom power conversion architectures, including redundancy, reliability, and scalability requirements
  • Understand customer system-level power architectures and subsystem development for Satcom & Telecom system, and support regional implementations
  • Coordinate global third-level technical support and escalation management and collaborate with divisional and regional teams on solution development and deployment
  • Contribute to global system-level training initiatives and technical knowledge sharing
  • Consolidate structured feedback on power conversion requirements, power semiconductor products relevant to telecom trends (O-RAN, 6G, SATCOM convergence) and application needs to SMD / Division and support innovation projects and next-generation power conversion platforms in telecom and satellite communication systems




Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor and/or power electronics industry 
  • Proven experience in system-level power converter applications, including hardware design/development and/or software integration
  • Strong knowledge in DC/DC and AC/DC converter for network power applications, including the operating principles of key components
  • Solid knowledge of magnetics design (transformers, inductors), EMC/EMI considerations, and converter design and experience with system-level modelling, simulation, and concept validation methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate system requirements into technical solutions and excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment across divisions, regional teams, and sales organizations
  • Self-driven, structured, and able to operate under ambiguity in a fast-evolving environment and willingness to travel internationally (up to ~30–40%)
