Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control and Pricing Specialist to support our mission by ensuring donated goods are processed efficiently, accurately, and with great customer care. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards in sorting, pricing, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This role plays a key role in creating a positive experience for donors and shoppers by following established guidelines, meeting production goals, and assisting across various areas of the production process as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and record donated goods according to established Kaizen guidelines and processing standards.
  • Inspect items for quality, determine appropriate pricing using the pricing guide, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency to meet or exceed daily production goals while supporting continuous process improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and shoppers, including assisting as a donation attendant when needed.
  • Cross‑train and support various areas of the production process to ensure smooth operations across the team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all operational and safety procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and the possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
  • Able to follow pricing guidelines established in the pricing guide.
