Position Summary
The Epic Business Intelligence Developer (BID) designs, develops, and maintains analytics solutions that support organizational reporting, operational decision-making, and performance improvement initiatives. This role works with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to translate business needs into meaningful data insights using Epic’s analytics platform, creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations with Cogito tools while ensuring data accuracy, usability, and accessibility across clinical, operational, and financial areas.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics tools using Epic reporting platforms.
- Configure and support reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer.
- Build reports using Epic data sources including Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Work with operational leaders and subject matter experts to understand reporting requirements.
- Validate and test reports to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Support distribution of reports and analytics content to internal stakeholders.
- Review system updates and assist with testing related to reporting tools and analytics features.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and organization.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, Clinical Discipline, or related field required; or equivalent work experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, reporting development, business intelligence, or healthcare data environments preferred.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL required.
- Experience with healthcare data, electronic health record systems, or healthcare analytics platforms preferred.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using business intelligence tools preferred.

- Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, and data visualization.
