Position:  Janitorial Day Porter (Full-Time)

Location: Murfreesboro, TN

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 PM 

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility’s daily cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming, sanitary, and organized environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This is a perfect part-time opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday afternoon hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Restocking & Inventory: Keep bathrooms fully stocked with paper products and soap; safely receive and put away janitorial supplies.

• Routine Cleaning: Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, wiping down high-touch surfaces, and cleaning restrooms.

• Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleanliness in common areas.

• Waste Management: Regularly pull trash and replace liners to keep the facility clutter-free.

• Teamwork: Complete other specialized cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience.

• Physical Stamina: Must be able to comfortably and repetitively lift up to 35 lbs.

• Reliability: Punctual attendance for the Monday through Friday shift is a must.

• Attention to Detail: A strong eye for cleanliness and a proactive attitude toward maintaining facility standards.

• Background: Successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
