We are looking for a dynamic, technically minded leader to drive excellence on our production floor. As a Production Supervisor I, you will be at the heart of our technical operations, ensuring our machinery and processes not only meet but exceed industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership (40%): Lead and mentor technicians, oversee equipment inspections, and manage preventive maintenance to maximize machinery lifespan.
  • Problem Resolution (20%): Use data analysis to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing disruptions on the floor.
  • Process Optimization (15%): Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Safety & Compliance (15%): Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, FDA, and cGMP standards while maintaining meticulous records of KPIs and OEE.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing or engineering, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Methodology Expertise: Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, including:
    • Kaizen: Driving continuous, incremental improvements through team engagement.
    • 5S & Visual Factory: Maintaining an organized, efficient, and transparent workspace.
    • SMED & TPM: Optimizing changeover times and total productive maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC applications, data analysis, and experience with systems like ADP.
  • Interpersonal Strength: Excellent communication skills and a "people-first" approach to management and team building.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk frequently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for shift coordination and documentation.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE and working near manufacturing equipment and hazardous chemicals as required.
