What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic images by expertly operating scanning equipment and selecting the precise technical parameters required to visualize complex body pathologies.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort by accurately positioning individuals for cross-sectional imaging and conducting thorough pre-screening and education for every exam.
  • Manage the integrity of clinical data by meticulously entering patient history and transferring images to PACS, ensuring every record is complete and ready for physician review.
  • Champion a safe and compliant clinical environment by strictly following radiation safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the imaging department.
  • Guarantee operational excellence by monitoring equipment performance and proactively reporting malfunctions to ensure consistent, uninterrupted care for our patients.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

 

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
