Position Summary: 

Responsible for processing orders in the Weld cell in accordance with the schedule and quality standards that are in place. Responsible for driving continuous improvement through a formal process implementing lean manufacturing, one piece flow, 5-S and Kanban to create an efficient quality product.


Position Responsibilities: 

· Drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity

· Analyze the current processes and recommend improvements.

· Ability to read and interpret measuring tools. ie, tape measure, calipers

· Ability to read and interpret prints

· Maintain and clean welding machine

· Wear proper PPE

· Able to adjust and set machine according to thickness and material type.

· Participate in troubleshooting during down time.

· Ensure proper paperwork is with each order.

· Time management and prioritization of multiple tasks.

· Meeting daily production schedules.

· Participate and maintain a 4.5 or higher in 5S


Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience): 

Resolve order inaccuracies, assist in resolving customer / internal issues as they arise. Communicate with lead or supervisor to resolve issues.

Stable and progressive work history

Stable attendance record

Experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
