Concrete Structural Tech Not just a Concrete Structural Tech. A Builder. You build the foundation for work that lasts. From forming and pouring to finishing, curing, and repair, you bring the hands-on skill and attention to detail that quality concrete work demands. You know that getting it right means working safely, following the plan, and taking pride in every surface you leave behind. At Structural Systems Repair Group, we’re looking for a Concrete Structural Tech who is ready to work hard, contribute to the team, and help deliver durable concrete work across a variety of construction projects. A Legacy of Building Careers At SSRG, we tackle complex projects and solve challenges others avoid. We believe exceptional work comes from exceptional people—people who take pride in their craft, support their teammates, and care about the quality of what they leave behind. We know our employees have lives beyond the jobsite, and we value the balance between working hard and living well. Our culture is built on trust, growth, teamwork, and shared success. Together, we’re preserving and restoring structures while building a legacy of quality, integrity, and purpose. What You’ll Build Set up concrete forms and help ensure proper alignment and leveling. Mix concrete to specified ratios and prepare it for proper application. Pour, spread, smooth, and finish concrete using shovels, trowels, screeds, and floats. Operate concrete mixers, vibrators, saws, trowels, and other power tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Transport and handle the materials, tools, and equipment needed for concrete construction. Apply sealants and waterproofing materials to protect concrete surfaces as required. Perform basic carpentry related to building and dismantling formwork. Monitor concrete as it hardens and follow established curing procedures to help prevent defects. Cut expansion joints and concrete edges using appropriate tools. Inspect finished concrete work for quality and compliance with building codes. Repair imperfections or damage to concrete surfaces as directed. Maintain a clean and safe jobsite by removing debris and hazardous materials. Collaborate with construction team members to complete projects on time and to specifications. Follow safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment and participate in safety training. Ability to operate concrete mixers, saws, drills, vibrators, and other power tools and heavy machinery. Understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required. Ability to pass a drug screening and background check if required by the employer. A valid driver’s license is required for this role. If you do not currently have a REAL ID, we encourage you to apply—we can assist with next steps. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regular and frequent walking; lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 20 pounds; and occasionally reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The Bottom Line We’re looking for someone who understands that quality concrete work starts long before the final finish. It takes preparation, precision, safety, teamwork, and the willingness to do the work right from formwork through curing and repair. We’re not looking for someone to simply pour concrete. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the details, contributes to the team, and helps build work that lasts.
