JOB SUMMARY:

As a Food and Beverage Host, you play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our restaurant guests. 

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greet guests; seat them in the restaurant according to the rotation schedule

2. Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials

3. Keep the work area neat and clean

4. Handle/solve guests’ concerns and delight them with outstanding service

5. Build relationships with guests

6. Abide by appearance standards

7. Exhibit sound decision-making with an emphasis on motivating the team and maintaining high morale

8. Be a participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces, by providing input and suggestions

9. Take drink orders, communicate with Bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks, and present drinks to guests
10. Assist Service Assistants &/or Servers with clearing, cleaning & resetting tables as needed
11. Handle money according to procedure
12. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
13. Follow the guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Board

14. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

15. Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A high school diploma or GED is required

2. Six months of prior food service experience is preferred

3. RASP certification is required*

4. ServSafe certification is required**

*Can be completed within 30 days of the hire date

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

1. Must be able to be on feet for an 8-hour shift

2. Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously

3. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grasp items

4. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

5. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

6. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke

7. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
