POSITION:                                          Supervisor, EVS

REPORTS TO:                                  Manager, Facility Operations

SUPERVISES:                                    Cleaning Specialist, Heavy Duty Cleaner , DR Cleaning Specialist, DR Heavy Duty Cleaner

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the facility.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values   

2. Supervise cleaning of casino interior and  immediate exterior 

3. Prepare and maintain employee work schedules for routine cleaning

4. Plan, schedule and supervise non-routine cleaning projects

5. Conduct pre-shift meetings

6. Order supplies and control inventory levels

7. Responsible for, or actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to:  interviews, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions

8. Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities

9. Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate corrective action when necessary

10. Ensure timely and accurate performance appraisals and accurate work history entries

11. Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale

12. Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions

13. Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees

14. Seek opportunities to provide excellent service to players and employees

15. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED required

2. Three years experience in housekeeping or environmental services required 

3. One year supervisory experience required

4. Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

5. Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

6. Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene

7. Ability to work independently

8. Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes

2. Excellent technical skills

3. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

1. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items

2. Must be able to lift 50 pounds

3. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

5. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations

6. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke

7. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
