Schedule: Per Diem (Approx. 24 hours/week, 12–24-hour shifts)

Temecula Valley OB/GYN is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dedicated inpatient team. This exciting hospital-based position focuses exclusively on providing high-quality intrapartum and postpartum care. You’ll work in close collaboration with our physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care for women and their families.

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient midwifery services exclusively within the hospital setting (no clinic/outpatient work).
• Manage and support women through all stages of labor and delivery.
• Perform deliveries, immediate postpartum care, and newborn stabilization in collaboration with physicians.
• Partner with the inpatient care team to deliver seamless, family-centered care.
• Promote a safe and supportive birthing environment for patients and their families.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in the State of California (required).
• California furnishing license and DEA (or ability to obtain).
• Master’s degree in nursing or Midwifery.
• Current BLS and NRP certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient midwifery or significant L&D RN experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing high-quality hospital-based women’s health care.
• Experience with VBAC Deliveries & High-risk Obstetrics
