Preschool Early Childhood Education (Preschool)

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a warm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  • Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities grounded in research-based practices
  • Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and colleagues
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
  • Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • ECE Units required under California Title 22 (must meet teacher qualification requirements)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Knowledge of DRDP implementation
  • Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) for preschool
