Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Infant Teacher (start in the Morning) to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, fostering their growth, curiosity, and development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in your care. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants.
  • Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, nap time, and hygiene routines
  • Monitor children closely to ensure safety at all times, adhering to strict supervision standards
  • Use positive behavior management techniques to encourage good social skills and emotional regulation
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and health updates in compliance with childcare regulations
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
  • Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately
Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience with classroom management strategies tailored for young children
  • Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (First Aid) is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
  • Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols
  • Hands-on experience caring for children through nannying or babysitting roles is valuable
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members in a nurturing environment
